What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing like yoga pants or sweatpants. The studio has a rubber mat floor and the school policy is to either go barefoot or with socks.

Do I need experience to take classes?

No experience is necessary.

Am I too old to take Tai Chi?

Absolutely not. Students should be able to stand unassisted though for a 90-minute class.

Will Tai Chi help my balance?

Most definitely. Tai Chi strengthens the core muscles that are vital to maintaining balance.

Is Tai Chi difficult to learn?

While it may seem difficult at first, through regular practice and dedication, what once seemed difficult becomes easy.

What style of Tai Chi do you teach?

We teach the Yang style 108 posture form learned from YMAA founder and Tai Chi Master, Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming.
